Breakfast! It’s such a versatile meal. You can have it for dinner. You can have steak and still call it breakfast! But what about cottage cheese?? Yep, even cottage cheese can be a breakfast food! It makes a really good one too.
You might be wondering how I get to cottage cheese for breakfast, when eggs are always in my fridge.. well I had a tub in the fridge that needed to get eaten or thrown out soon. It was also morning, I was hungry, and not overly motivated to turn the stove on… ever have one of those mornings??
Anyways, I eyed the cottage cheese and I know it’s on the healthier side, but would it last me till lunch without a huge snack binge.. that was the question! Well with a few healthy additions it did and it was totally amazing!
Cottage Cheese Breakfast Bowl!
- 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese
- Healthy Additions! Here’s mine but you can add any healthy ones you want!
Addin Option 1
- 2 oz Raspberries
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 oz Fresh Coconut
Addin Option 2
- 1 tbsp Flax Seeds
- 1 oz Fresh Coconut
- 2 oz Fresh Strawberries
Addin Option 3
- 1 tbsp Flax Seeds
- 2 of Frozen Berry Mix
- 1 oz Fresh Coconut
Just mix all your yummies together and enjoy! These combinations provided me with protein and healthy fats, and kept me full till lunchtime! Enjoy!
